Make Art During work time Mrs. Vanderbilt cannot wait to teach you artistic skill builders and also how to creatively problem solve and use a variety of Art materials to express your story.

Ms. TerEick’s class sketching and exploring animal drawings to prepare for their paintings. Artists had a full class to draw using drawing books and other resources for ideas.Ms. Young’s class is sketching and exploring drawing animals to prepare for a painting project.Sunnyside Artists will soon work with a local mosiac artist, Mica Lee Anders on creating 5 SUN mosiacs that will be installed this summer. Mica has done many mosiac projects with schoos, community centers, and other organizations throughout the Twin Cities. We are very fortunate to have her come to Sunnyside. Thank you to our PTA for their continued support of the Arts and beautifying our school. Below is a photo of Mica at a school where she finished a series of mosiacs of hot air balloons.
